We are very excited in the Moore household because Caren, Steve, Haley and Avery Kruest (our friends from Ohio) are coming to stay with us for the weekend. It's a hub of activity - cleaning and organizing and preparing for their visit. They come the last weekend in August every year and it's ALWAYS a good time (Steve goes to the Corvette show in Carlisle - one of these times we fully expect him to come back in a Vette!!!). The kids love to have them here and were very excited this morning when they woke up..."They are coming TONIGHT!!!!" :)
We have a busy weekend planned and I'm sure I'll have some fun pictures and stories on Monday (ok, well maybe Tuesday... :) )
So Mason had his first scrimmage in football last night and I think it overwhelmed him. Unlike practice, it was a continuous activity - with no break. He ended up leaving the game about 3/4 of the way through with a bad headache. We're thinking maybe his helmet is the wrong size. They told us it should be tight but maybe it's too tight. He has another scrimmage tonight - we'll see if it goes any better.
Thought I'd add a funny quote that I saw recently - Princess Diana said it and I like it!!
"They say it is better to be poor and happy than rich and miserable, but how about a compromise like moderately rich and just moody?" :) That made me laugh!! Sounds like a plan to me!!!!

Sorry to hear about Mason. When Tyler started football, he was the same way. The first couple real games I gave him Tylenol to help the aches and pains. Can't wait to see pics of him in his uniform. Oh and of your weekend w/Caren and family. :)
