Annual Checkups

Both of the kids had their annual checkups this week. Unfortunately, Syd's was early because I brought her in for a sick visit. Poor baby has an ear infection and Strep throat. But I brought her yesterday and her checkup was today, so our wonderful doctor just combined them!! :) And the good news for Syd was she didn't have to get her shots. She'll have to go back in 2 weeks for those.

Anyway - perfect bills of health for both!! She said they both look great! Now prepare yourselves for the stats - it's too funny! They are 3 years apart remember!! :)

Sydney -
Height: 46 in. (97%)
Weight: 47 lbs. (90%)

Mason -
Height: 48 in (12%)
Weight: 49 lbs. (16%)

Yes, you read that right. LOL!!! I have two opposite ends of the spectrum!! However, they are both healthy. They said he is just petite!! :) (Don't we all wish we had those problems!! LOL!!) And she is perfectly proportioned. They said if she was a lot shorter, then her weight would be a problem, but she is perfect!! Just not petite!!! ;)

It definitely could have something to do with what they eat too!! She is my big eater (and is very particular about what she eats - she wants to know what's healthy - which I LOVE!!!) Mason on the other hand, well he's just a carbon copy of me as a kid! P.I.C.K.Y!!!!!! (Now I know what my mom went through!!!) She said that we shouldn't be worrying at all about what he eats. As soon as his hormones kick in, we won't be able to stop him from eating!! :) Ok, someone remind me of my next sentence....I can't wait for that day!!!! LOL!!!

I'm a happy mom today!! (Other than my baby being sick, but she's definitely more herself today, so she's on the mend!)

Goodbye Number 4....

The second of the top two front teeth has finally come out!!!! HURRAY!!! This tooth has been loose for WEEKS!!! Hanging on by a thin thread but just not ready to come out. It was literally hanging down in the center of the two spaces. It looked so funny. We tried so hard to have it out before the wedding but when we tried, it was still hanging on, so it hurt. After that, he wouldn't let us near it!! Finally last night it surrendered and fell out (well, with a little help from Nanny - lol)!! YAY!!! This makes the fourth tooth that he has lost!

Here he is with his new toothless smile (well, a little exaggerated so I could capture it!!) :) He still looks adorable!!!! :)

GadZOOKS!!! What a SERIOUS shock to the system. We went from 87 in Florida to 23 at home. AAAAA!!!! And then a snow storm on Tuesday night. *sigh* I guess it can only last so long huh??? :)

Anyway, we had a wonderful, magical time. Although it was busy, busy - there wasn't much "vacation" time - it was so great. Disney was as magical as I had hoped and it was perfect to have my brother there with us (we wish Shannon could have come, but the bride certainly couldn't get away)!!! Then it was great to be with Mike and Shannon, my parents and grandparents and so many aunts, uncles and cousins. It was like a family reunion!!! :)

I posted pictures of Disney on Dropshots ( http://www.dropshots.com/moorefam ) so if you get a chance, check them out. Those took me a while to get loaded last night so I didn't get to do all our pictures. I got some amazing pics from the wedding and will try to get those loaded tonight.

So even though it's always good to get home, it was great to be down there and have some good family time!!! But the next time we go down to Florida, we are scheduling in some DOWN time!!!! :)

CONGRATULATIONS TO MR. AND MRS. BOYD!!!!!! We wish you many, many, many years of wedded bliss!!!!!

We are FLORIDA BOUND!!!!

In about 1/2 hour, we are going to hit the road and the skys that will take us to Orlando, Florida and MICKEY MOUSE!!!!! :) We are all so excited. And I'm proud of myself that I actually have time to do this because I'm not stressed right to the last minute. I actually feel like I'm prepared!!! :) Ok, granted, I stayed up until 1am last night but that's besides the point!!!! ;)

We will be at Disney World all day tomorrow and my princess will be having breakfast with Cinderella in the castle!!! :)

I will do my best to update while we are gone. We are taking the laptop so there's hope!!! ;)

19 and 0??? FOGETABOTIT!!!!!

(That was a sign I saw a fan hold up at the end of the game!!! I LOVE IT!!!!)

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOO!!!!!! WAY TO GO GIANTS!!!!!! I am just SOOO excited!!! What an amazing game!!! The defense was on FIRE and the offensive line cushioned Eli! Eli is the MAN!!!! He was incredible!!!! I love being a Giants fan!! I always have!!! They have so much heart - it's so true. When Plaxico started crying at the end - I started crying. I have loved this team for so long - since I was a Junior in HS!!! That's a long time!!! It has been an emotional ride - ups and downs. But I have stuck with them through it all. Anyone who knows me knows that I have been a hard core Giants fan through and through. And it's moments like tonight that make it all worth it!!!! WOW!!!! AWESOME!!!!!!

Again, my precious little buddy was up with me through it all!!! We started the night off at Dane and Ilse's house and it was a lot of fun!!! But we came home at half time to get my princess to bed. Rex fell asleep on the couch (NOT a sports fan) and Mason and I jumped around holding our hands over the other ones mouth so we wouldn't wake them up!!!! LOL!!! After Plaxico snagged the winning touchdown - I scooped him up and literally we jumped up and down around the living room!!! He said WE WON THE SUPER BOWL!!! I told him not to count his chickens, a quarterback like Tom Brady can do a lot in 35 seconds!!! So we sat and squeezed each other - praying he wouldn't and we celebrated at the end!!!! My house phone rang, my cell phone rang - it was awesome. Caren called, Derek called (Dane and Ilse's son), my brother called and Mason called my dad (a Patriots fan)!!!! It was AWESOME!!!!!

Sorry Lisa - your boys had a heck of a season. But 19 and 0??? FOGETABOTIT!!!!!!! ;)

So now I have to re-focus on Florida. We leave on Tuesday. I'm pretty much ready, but I'm glad I have one more night to get ready so I could focus on the Giants tonight!!!!!
