Happy Memorial Day

What a perfect day for a parade!!! The weather was absolutely beautiful and we had such a nice time!! It's a tradition we always enjoy - breakfast at Henrietta's with of our "family"!!!

Here's one of my boy. He was big stuff this year and marched in the parade with his baseball team. I really missed having him with us to watch but was so proud when he came strutting down the street (and proceeded to act like he was WAAAYYY too cool for us!!!) LOL!!!

And here he comes. I could tell all the way down the street which one he was - my little peanut!! He looked so stinking cute!!!! :)

I took this picture right before he came over and tossed some candy our way. He really was just TOO big for his britches!!! :)

And off he went without so much as a glance back. *sniff, sniff* Where has my baby boy gone?

I haven't been real good about posting lately, but at least I'm remembering my pictures!!! LOL!! I'll try to do better!!! Thanks for checking in on us!

Name Change...

So I was thinking that it was time to give my blog title a little face lift. And the title came to me from the Mother's Day card from my family!! :)

The inside says "To a mom who lives life in the fast lane." WOW!!! That says it all!!! :) I'm hanging on with all I've got but still trying to stop and smell the flowers with my family!!!

Mason actually picked out the card and it was from all three of them!!! I thought it was so funny!! My mother's day was great. They took me out to dinner at the Olive Garden (yum) and it was really nice. Yesterday the kids played outside with Rex for most of the day so I had some quiet time alone...ahhhh!!! :) It was a nice day!!!
