:) I haven't had much to post lately!! Things just go along as usual!! We are having a good summer. Things have been going quite well for Mason. He spends Tuesdays and Fridays with Rah Rah - so he hasn't been too bored with daycare!! It has been WONDERFUL!!! Thank you Rah Rah!!! :)
Sydney has gotten to the "I don't want to go to school (daycare)" phase lately! I hope she gets past it. She and I have had a fun "girls" weekend!! Daddy and Mason went to camp for the weekend so we spent the time alone - and we loved it. Last night we went for a bike ride. We stopped by Nanny and Pappy's house for a visit. Then we came home and snuggled in bed for a while. This morning we got up early for another bike ride. Stopped by for another quick hello at Nanny and Pappy's and then we were off and running errands.
The best part of the day for Miss Sydney was getting her fingernails and toenails painted!! She is getting so big. She really looked fancy then!!! She said "This is the best day ever!" *Sigh* How I wish she would always be that easy to please!! :)
So that's us - not too much new!!! But maybe tomorrow - we might go somewhere fun!! :) (Shhhh!!!! It's a secret!!)
And definitely next weekend - Skeet and Justina get married!! YAY!! I'm sure we'll have lots to post then!! :)

A Day at the Hershey Pool
(Sorry this is so long, but it was hard to not include pictures!! :) )

I love this next picture. If you click on the picture, in the bigger image, you can see the sticky sweet lollipop around her mouth!!! :)

So, we love our Redneck pool, but we thought we'd try something new. I had heard that Hershey had a great pool and you didn't have to be a member. So my mom and I took the kids last Saturday. We had a great time! The weather was beautiful (although not as hot as it had been - was about 75)! There was a cute baby pool (which they tired of after about 5 minutes) and then a HUGE pool which was sectioned off. The first part was 2-3 feet and perfect for the kids. Sydney was able to bring her floaties in, which was GREAT!!! It only took a little while for her to gain some confidence and she was off and swimming on her own with noone holding her.
She was Rah Rah's girl all day and only wanted to swim with her!! :)
Mason thought it was way too cold to be swimming and wasn't even in long enough for me to take his picture. Here he was suited up and ready to go - but didn't even get in this time! :)
He was perfectly content to sit out and watch us - oh and eat Cheese Balls!!! :)

FINALLY, she agreed to come in with me and we spent the next hour playing Motorboat (thanks Caren!!!!) ;)
After 3 hours at the pool and swimming almost the whole time, you can imagine what happened on the ride home!!! :)
I love this next picture. If you click on the picture, in the bigger image, you can see the sticky sweet lollipop around her mouth!!! :)

** Be sure to check out our Dropshots site for more pictures and video of Sydney swimming by herself! :) **
Daddy's Turn
Daddy and Sydney were swimming in the pool last Friday night. Mason and I just didn't think it was hot enough!! :) Anyway, Sydney was doing great floating around with her floaties and decided she didn't need those 'ole things!!! (Oh boy!) Well she got cocky and sure enough, slipped and went under!! YIKES!! She was NOT happy about it. We tried to make light of it and tell her that it wasn't a big deal. But she freaked out and needed some loving and luckily - her daddy was there and more than happy to give it to her!! :) So this time, she and Daddy got to float around the pool together!!!
Didn't take too long before Daddy's cuddles worked their magic!! :)
Pretty soon, they were inspecting those wrinkly 'ole piggies!!! :) (Like her new bathing suit? She looks so cute in it!)
