At 8, he could have played on the Mustangs for one more year, but he really wanted to try out for the Ponies (9, 10 and 11 year olds - 8 yr olds can try out). So he did and he MADE IT!! :) We were so proud of him!!!
So here are a couple shots of him on the field!! Isn't he just so stinkin' cute??? :)
Up to bat! It's been an adjustment for him with batting. Those kids WHIZ those balls in and last year the coaches pitched. But he'll get it!! Just takes practice!

This picture is blurry but I love it because you can just see his determination. He's a little dynamo behind the plate - always moving. He loves it!!
And the best part, this year, Daddy volunteered to be one of the coaches!! Rex loves baseball and is SO good with the kids. It's been fun to have them both on the team!! :) Here he is looking on at Mason batting!
And here's my favorite little cheerleader!! :) She wasn't paying a bit of attention to the game - she'd rather run around with the other little kids. But every once in a while, you'd hear this little voice yell out "C'mon MASON! You can do it!!" So sweet!! :)
The only thing that would make Mason's games better, would be to have his Uncle Mike there to see him play. He would be so proud of him!! :)

Mason your uncle mike is so proud of you. You look so good in that catchers outfit. That was uncle mikes favorite position so I hope you love it to. I so wish your aunt shannon and I were closer so we could see you play. We are both so proud of you and cant wait to get updated by your mom. We love you so much.

He reminds me SO much of you Mike and I am VERY proud of that!!:) He is such a good little ball player and moving ALL the time. We don't miss a game:):) We love Baseball season too:):)
