Prayer is such an important part of our family life. Our relationship with God is a key part of our family relationship. Often times I feel the need to ask others to help me lift our prayers up...this is one of those times.
My sister (I don't think of her as an in-law) Shannon is PREGNANT!!!! We are thrilled!! I'm asking that you pray for blessings on this child but also for Shannon. I ask that you pray for a couple that I've come to "know" through the world of blogging - Kurt and Kendall Manz. They are an amazing couple and have been through a lot. They lost their precious baby girl, Autumn, at birth this past October. I can't begin to imagine what they went through (and continue to go through), but their faith has kept them strong. And now God has blessed them with a new pregnancy!!! He is so good. Obviously, Kendall is scared. Please pray that God will give her peace and give her the ability to enjoy this pregnancy. The neatest thing is that Shannon and Kendall are due one day apart. Shannon is due November 7th and Kendall is due November 6th. :)
I ask that you pray for our business. Things are so slow right now - slower than they've ever been. I ask that you please lift Rex up - that he may have peace and patience. I pray that God will increase the work soon so that we can relax a little.
And also, for a less "critical" prayer, but still important to me. My boss is considering letting me work a more flexible schedule so that my life can take on a better balance. We've talked about me either working 4 days a week or working shorter days, 5 days a week. I'm hoping for the 4 day week and trying not to get my hopes up. Please pray that God will give us what is best for us and that He will calm my hopes and allow me to accept His will.
Prayers are so important to us and I really appreciate you all lifting us and our family and friends up to God.

We're thrilled that our Shannon is expecting her and Mike's first baby. Rah Rah and Pop Pop are SO excited about becoming Grandparents again, because we love the ones we already have, SOOOOOOOOOO much and we are thrilled to finally be close to them:):) They are THE BEST:):):)
