Well it's official!!!

Sydney is registered for Kindergarten! I just can't believe it. I'm so excited for her and sad at the same time! I can't believe my baby is here! But she couldn't wait to go. They had a little "mini-kindergarten" session this afternoon while I did all the paperwork. They basically evaluated a lot of her skills while she participated in some activities. The teacher said she did really well. She said she was the only girl but it didn't bother her - she held her own! :) I was really proud of her and she came out with a BIG smile on her face!!

Now she can't wait for August when she gets to take a ride on the school bus to get ready for the big day. We'll all go with her, she'll ride the bus, meet her teacher and see her classroom!

Wow!! Can this all really be happening? Is it possible that my precious little bean is going to be heading off to Kindergarten? It's going to be tough for me. I got choked up when she walked away this afternoon toward the classroom. She barely gave me a kiss and headed off. I was so proud of her for not being shy or scared and am happy that she wanted to go. But I was still a little sad! I'll be a mess on the first day!!!

Ahh Vic! I am sitting here reading this and I am crying. Next year it will be me feeling these feelings. I know I will be a mess also. Know that I am only right next door if you need a shoulder to cry on. It is hard to believe that she is going off to kindergarten, did I not just hold here in the hospital.

I love you you guys!!!

Awww, we can cry together, okay? ;) I'm so proud of her and excited for her, but you can't help but be a little sad that she's starting the next stage of her life.

She's going to ROCK that school!!!

Well from a Canadian Mommy who's had her 'baby' in Kindgarden for the past 6months already, I know what a big step it is. I did pretty good with Joshua though, Victoria I was not so strong....

Glad to hear that she liked the mini session today :)

Cassie registers next week. I'm excited for her. This is going to be a great adventure. Plus she's all hyped up because she gets to go school with her brother and the little girl next door. Heck, she's already up at the school with Tom for Room Daddy stuff at least once a week.

They'll be fine. They'll have a great time. I'll miss my lunch buddy, but I can go have lunch with her if I want - and hey, maybe hubby and I can have a lunch that doesn't involve a 10 minute conversation about if she wants chicken or grilled cheese. LOL
